Almost got derailed...

Well for those of you who know me well enough to be facebook friends, you probably already know that we had some drama this week. On Thursday, my sons were attending a sports camp and that day was for football. Middle one does not do football. He likes more solitary sports like swimming and tennis but dabbles in soccer... Well for three hours of his 12 and one half years he participated in football drills.... Around 12:45 my husband and I both got calls from the camp that he was hurt and to come quickly. As my husband spoke to the staff there, I did not get my information. Football scares me! And this is why...

Needless to say between the emergency room and the visit to the orthopedist, I lost about 8 hours of prep time for the trip. I have been scrambling to pack and organize and clean and prep. I really wanted to get my hair highlighted but have to let that go :(

Anyway, I've decided to just update the remainder of the itinerary as we go. This time tomorrow we will be on the west coast for the first time for any of us!! See you then!
